1. Who We Are
The controller is [legal entity name] ("ReportingLab"), [registered address], [company number]. You can reach us at hello@reportinglab.ai. [EU representative under Art. 27 GDPR, if required: name and address.]
2. What We Collect
- Your name (contact form), email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
- What you tell us: your message, the Tools you selected, the page you submitted from and the link that brought you there.
- A one-way hash of your IP address and the time of submission, used to stop automated abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.
- A record of your consent: when you gave it, which version of this notice it referred to, and your language.
3. Why We Use It, And On What Legal Basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To send product updates if you sign up — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the forms secure and prevent spam — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal obligations and keep evidence of consent — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interests.
4. Who We Share It With
We use service providers who host the website, the application, the database and our email delivery, acting as processors under contract. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.
Some of these providers process data outside the EEA [providers and countries]. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. How Long We Keep It
Enquiries and quote requests: [2 years] after the enquiry is closed. Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe. Consent records: as long as we need to be able to demonstrate consent.
6. Your Rights
To exercise any of these, write to hello@reportinglab.ai. We answer within one month.
- Access your data and receive a copy,
- Have it corrected or erased,
- Restrict or object to its processing,
- Receive it in a portable format,
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing before the withdrawal,
- Complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
7. Changes
We will publish any change to this notice on this page with a new version label.
